Here is another ‘imagine’ story…because it is still one I am trying to imagine how it must feel.

Imagine your family… Mother, Father, Sisters, Brothers, Children, your In-Laws

Now Imagine 5 of them dying in just 2 days.

That is what happened to one of our staff members. She got news that here Sister, Brother-in-Law and their 2 children all died in a sudden car crash. Then when she finally got the news, she also got word that her other sister committed suicide because the grief was too much for her to handle.

How to you even begin to process something as this?

She cannot go home for the funeral due to finances. She is stuck with a broken heart.

We are doing everything we can here at SHE to support her in any way that we can. We pray, hug, and love her as family, because that is what she is to us; family.

Please continue to be in prayer for the SHE Staff. Many of the Thai staff are going through some unimaginable hard situations, that words cannot express the sorrow.

13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” James 4:13-15

Liz, you’ve had some triumphs which I was so happy to hear about and now I’m so sorry to hear about all the tragedies you and the staff are dealing with. Thank you sharing both. I continue to pray and hope that if there is anything else I can do that you would please let me know. God’s peace to all of you.
